Started his career with his father Björn Vadillo Paulsen as an intern in Bufete Vadillo SC, at the time he began studying Law at Universidad Intercontinental in 1990.
He was an associate in Rubio Villegas y Asociados SC until 1999, when he became independent and formed Vadillo & Co.
In November of 2014 created Agency Firma SC along with Designer Francisco Rueda, company that he co-leads to date.
Julián has been involved in intellectual property law for more than 27 years, mainly dealing with cases related to trademarks and copyright, and more recently Geographical Indications. In all these years he has been directly responsible for more than 15,000 cases and proceedings relating to trademarks, patents, designs and copyrights in Mexico and abroad.
Julián is member of the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), International Trademark Association (INTA) and MARQUES, where he has been active member in several committees and work teams, currently in Geographical Indications.
Outside Intellectual Property, Julián studies and collects Mid-Century Modern American and Scandinavian Design. He is also involved in agriculture and in the production of vino-mezcal Tuxca in a family business in Zapotitlán de Vadillo, South Jalisco, birth town of his grandfather Prof. Basilio Vadillo.

Francisco was Creative Director of Magic Moments – MediaCom in Vienna, Austria from 2001 to 2006, creating non-traditional media campaigns (Ambient Media) for Citroën, Pringles, Škoda, among others.
At his return to Mexico co-founded design firm Sociedad Anónima, to then form Agency Firma SC along with trademark and intellectual property specialist Julián Vadillo.
Further, Francisco is involved in communicating and promoting Mexican distillates such as mezcal and tuxca.
Shantal Selmen has extensive experience in the areas of trademarks, copyrights, personal data, sports and entertainment, advertising and marketing.
Advises national and international clients in the development of strategies to manage, protect and exploit their intellectual property assets, defense and prevention of unauthorized use of intellectual property rights in social networks, marketing and advertising campaigns, personal data and related litigation with intellectual property issues.
She has a specialty in Fashion Law from the Milano Fashion Institute. Advises various companies in the fashion industry to protect their designs, campaigns, catwalks and intellectual property assets.
She has advised and represented national and international clients such as Prada, MIU MIU, Miuccia Prada, Chanel, Grupo Televisa, Grupo Expansión, Moshi-Moshi, Kua Mex Foods, Axo Group, Club Atlético de Madrid, among others.
Outside of intellectual property she likes to climb and is a yoga instructor.
Olga started her career as an intern in Arochi & Lindner, dealing mainly in matters of litigation, trademarks and patents with the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property, Federal Administrative Courts and Federal Judicial Courts. During this period of time she drafted several report to clients on the use, exploitation and protection of trademarks and inventions.
During 2005 she made her Social Service and Professional Practices in the Mexican Copyright Office, in the areas of ISBN, Reserva of Exclusive Rights and Legal Department, reviewing and negotiating agreements and resolutions.
Olga worked in Notmusa Editorial Group as In-House Consultant, creating and organizing the company’s intellectual Property asset database. During that period of time she implemented a copyright counseling system for the contents of the printed and digital publications, and negotiated the terms and conditions to use and exploit the image, photos and/or intellectual creations of several artists.
In the year 2007 Olga joined Vadillo & Co. as head of the Copyright Division. Subsequently, since Agency Firma SC was formed she manages the international Trademarks Division as responsible for the protection and maintenance of intellectual assets abroad.

Litigation Lawyer with more than 7 years of experience in Civil, Administrative, Constitutional and Electoral Law, mostly in Amparo and protection trials of Politic Rights.
National Autonomous University of Mexico alumni, Aragon Campus, with thesis entitled “Principles, rules and legal procedural figures of Amparo, to strengthen trials for the protection of political-electoral rights of citizens.”.
Participated as speaker during the XIII Iberoamerican Congress of Constitutional Law UNAM-IIJ-SCJN-TEPJF, with the essay “The absence of federalism within the local electoral courts”.
As an independent profesional has represented y advised political parties in internal electoral processes and constitutional federal and local. Democratic Revolution Party in 2014, Humanist Party in 2015 and national Action Party in 2017.
He worked as an intern for several firms in the civil law and common jurisdiction areas. He then joined Vadillo & King specializing in intellectual property litigation.
Currently he is responsible for the litigation division in Agency Firma SC, where he developed the Complaint for Thesis Contraduction PC01.I.A.2017.C being currently studied by the Federal Judicial Courts, on the jointly or individual challenge of trademark registrations cited as antecedents by the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property.
Made his Community Service in the Ministry of Health of the Federal Government, appointed to the Division of Normative Technical Support, where he undertook applications to access to information, drafted resolutions and defending the same for the Federal Institute for the Access of Information (INAI).
He enjoys reading on philosophy, political theory and history; he also likes videogames and practices martial arts.
